Welcome to Spotted Cow Ice Cream and Coffee Company, a one-of-a-kind Northwest ice cream cafe started by local residents Steve & Michelle Olesen. Handcrafted cream and beans…an udderly mooooving experience! Steve and Michelle set out on a seven year journey to create a store that would be a true neighborhood gathering place with a funky atmosphere for the entire family. The store features free internet access, books/magazines, evening entertainment, book readings for kids, and other activities throughout the year, including wine and coffee tastings.

 

Our store features handcrafted ice cream, gelato, and sorbet made at the store in small batches by Steve. He learned the art of making super-premium ice cream through courses at Penn State University (where Ben & Jerry learned), Oregon State University, and working with the former Dankins Ice Cream makers. Our cream mixes are all natural and custom made by a northwest family dairy business.

 

We strive to bring you the best ice cream and coffee every time. If for some reason you are unsatisfied with your coffee, please return it and we will promptly throw it at the barista, then hold them down while you pelt them with coffee beans. Also, if your ice cream is not the best you’ve ever tasted, we will put the responsible cow into corrective counseling and they will not return to service until they have completed our Twelve-Step Moootivational Program.
